GAO YANG

ABOUT

Gao Yang is a China-based digital artist whose practice begins with abstraction and geometry. Combining procedural modeling, simulation, and sustained manual refinement, he constructs a distinct visual language through structure, materiality, and color. His work is drawn to a beauty born of contradiction, holding chaos and order, the mechanical and the living, and reality and dream in tension. His works have been shown in exhibitions, public spaces, and moving-image platforms in China and internationally, and have received recognition including Vimeo Staff Picks.
