HWAYOO (Hwang Yoogeun) is a media artist and visual director who translates structures found in nature and living systems into digital images. Combining Houdini-based procedural simulation, 3D graphics, and AI-assisted image making, he explores how matter emerges, erodes, transforms, and returns to balance. Particles, fluids, plants, and light function not as decorative effects but as a visual language for the movement of time and emotion. Designed with large-scale LED surfaces and immersive architecture in mind, his works connect image and space as a continuous landscape. His recent practice focuses on turning complex or invisible biological phenomena, including cells, tissues, and ecosystems, into sensory experiences that can be intuitively understood.
