KIM DAEJIN

ABOUT

Kim Daejin, working under the name daejin.creates, is an AI visual artist and visual designer with more than 25 years of experience in print, editorial, and graphic design. Drawing on this long visual practice, he explores Korean symbols and traditional forms through a contemporary digital language, translating emotion, memory, rupture, and recovery into surreal images and moving-image works. Rather than using AI simply as a tool for generating images, he approaches it as a medium for expanding visual thought and for crossing the boundary between reality and the unconscious. His work connects image, motion, composition, and symbolic structure to create scenes in which familiar landscapes and forms become psychological spaces. Through this process, he continues to examine how personal emotion and cultural memory can be transformed into new visual narratives.
