Flower of Happiness draws on the Flower of Life, an Islamic geometric pattern where a circle repeats and overlaps to expand outward. The circle Dongli originated from is repeated and overlapped until it blooms into a cherry blossom, chosen for its brief, intense bloom and its anticipation of spring. The pattern transforms into cherry-blossom-shaped flower-Dongli, each flower symbolizing one happiness. The small happinesses we meet daily carry that same brief, intense beauty; happiness beginning in a circle becomes a flower, creating another connection.
