Delivering healing by blending analog sensibilities with digital technology, the media art group 'Wide Pixel' has been active since its formation in 2008, led by artists Jongho Lee and Jioh Choi. By utilizing cutting-edge technologies like 3D, VR, and AR while infusing their work with warm human emotion, they showcase the true essence of global K-Media Art. Jioh Choi focuses on visualizing traditional painting and the spirit of Eastern art through new media. Fusing various mediums such as animation and ceramics, his highly original works have been invited to major exhibitions at home and abroad, including the Savina Museum of Contemporary Art. His art is also collected by the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA) and Samsung Electronics, earning global recognition for its artistic value. Jongho Lee presents creative convergence media art that incorporates 3D video, AR, and video mapping. Based on the philosophy of 'Haeng-un-yu-su' (flowing freely like clouds and water), he strives to provide audiences with deep immersion and fresh enjoyment. He has successfully led numerous major projects, including the video mapping of works by Italian master Antonio Canova and media art for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics parade.
