Yeonjeong Jang, also known as Forside, is a digital artist and design scholar based in Korea. Her practice explores the digital sublime through generative AI, moving image, and expanded forms of digital materiality. Drawing from her background in design history and aesthetics, she creates luminous post-natural landscapes where light, data, organic structures, and emotional resonance converge. Her works often appear as fragile ecosystems, translucent membranes, or speculative botanical forms suspended between nature and technology. Rather than treating AI as a tool for visual effect alone, Jang uses it as a medium for constructing atmosphere, perception, and new symbolic environments. Through still images and video-based works, she investigates how digital images can evoke silence, scale, tension, and a contemporary sense of the sublime.
