In this work a composite function of position and time finds the color for each pixel in each frame, by mapping the three dimensions of X, Y and time to the three dimensions of red, green and blue intensity in the RGB colorspace. The result is a graph that looks a bit like moving colored glass, with reflections and refractions concealing and revealing details. The technique was inspired by Karl Sims’ work Genetic Images, where functions of X and Y are used to generate abstract images.
