ELEMENTS explores the moment when familiar subjects acquire a new sensory order.Our perception of nature is shaped by accumulated memories of form and movement, associating inherent material qualities with particular scenes and sensations. Within this perceptual framework, the work separates familiar concepts and recombines them in new configurations. As one subject takes on the movement of another phenomenon, the boundaries of the image shift into a more fluid and abstract state. Familiar natural forms are expanded into countless particles—falling, gathering, and generating new movements where the identity of each individual element and the overarching motion are perceived simultaneously. When a familiar form encounters an unexpected rhythm, our established perception loosens, revealing another latent image within it. Rather than remaining fixed in a single form, the beauty of nature emerges through an ongoing process of renewed relationships, inviting us to encounter sensations and landscapes that have yet to be named.
