This piece is drawn from my project Blue Mountains, the fifth work in the Shanshui series. Through layered blues and slow animation, the project gives form to deeply buried sorrow, turning it into a landscape I can approach and inhabit. In this fragment, clusters of blue ridges spread across a dark reflective surface. Pale green and lilac traces follow their folds as the mountains gather around an open valley. A moon gradually appears between them, while the shifting contours reveal passages of water through the landscape.
