Hand of Man was created using a distinctive hand-drawn method that Miller has refined over years of experimentation and study of diverse visual techniques. The work unfolds as four separate source images are reinterpreted on screen through a gradual, layered process of accumulating thousands of individual marks.Sound plays a central role in shaping the experience: the music provides an emotional contour that parallels and amplifies the unfolding imagery, establishing a rhythm of emergence, transformation, and resolution. Together, image and sound create a meditative work that reflects on the act of making, the passage of time, and the human presence embedded in digital media.
