Vincent van Gogh’s works are distinguished by their dynamic brush lines and spiral patterns. His favored technique, impasto, involves thickly layering paint to preserve the texture of brushstrokes and the vibration of emotion. 〈Line Flow〉 draws inspiration from this painterly rhythm, transforming the traces of the brush into flowing lines that move with the vitality of air. The spiraling layers of lines extend the whirls of his brushwork into waves— conveying the impression of motion that breathes and shifts within the flow of time.
