The flame serves not merely as a source of heat, but as a metaphor for emotions that quietly smolder deep within. Neither fully ablaze nor entirely extinguished, the fire dwells in the in-between, subtly illuminating the boundary between disappearance and persistence. Rather than speaking of an end, the piece contemplates continuation—evoking the quiet endurance of warmth and feeling suspended in time. Before this silent ember, the viewer is invited to recall forgotten warmths nestled in the heart.
