In today’s world of constant productivity, we’ve missed the point somewhere along the way. The whole point is to relax and enjoy your life. I remember growing up, I’d stare out of my window, daydreaming for hours. At some point after college, I stopped doing that. Once I was pushed into the adult world, my life revolved around freelancing and just trying to sustain myself with back-to-back projects, only to feel exhausted at the end. This artwork (2024) depicts me reaching back to my younger self, re-learning to relax, to do nothing, to daydream.
