JAN ERIK WAIDER

Along Iceland’s south coast, where a glacial river meets the Atlantic Ocean, water, sand, and suspended sediment form shifting patterns shaped by tides and flow. From above, these elements merge into soft gradients and layered structures. Fine silt disperses through the water, creating muted tones and gentle transitions. Within this dynamic environment, seals drift and rest within the current, becoming part of the evolving composition. The work focuses on the balance between motion and stillness.
