Across Iceland’s river and coastal landscapes, glacial meltwater carries fine sediment toward the sea, shaping subtle gradients and layered color fields visible from above. Variations in flow, depth, and material create shifting textures, where darker sands meet lighter water. Sediment influences tone and clarity, forming transitions between diffuse surfaces and more defined structures. Channels and currents interact continuously, with patterns emerging and dissolving over time. "
