This work is a tribute from the artist to the mothers among us—those most precious and ordinary figures. The artist placed a small crown upon a mother duck. It is not a crown of splendor or authority. It is a quiet expression of respect for a mother who has silently carried her family through difficult and heavy times. Across a lake glowing with sunset light, amid water lilies, the mother duck strolls slowly with her ducklings. The swaying willow leaves breathe life into this peaceful space, while the pink and white lilies wrap the moment in calm. To the artist, every small and nameless being holds its own quiet, irreplaceable life. Through this small crown, a mother's lifetime of endurance finally finds its light. It is the artist's quiet way of speaking, through painting, of a labor that no one ever noticed.
