All happiness begins from a very small seed. At the center of the work, a flower stands for the artist's own identity — the seed of happiness itself. From it, colors spread outward to form one vast mandala. What matters is not what specifically spreads, but that it spreads — one color bleeding into the next in a rhythm the viewer's mind begins to follow. Mandala means circle, symbolizing the human interior and the cosmos. Happiness beginning within the artist is passed to the viewer and expands anew, speaking to the idea that we all exist within this circulation.
