Block Cityscape is a generative artwork that reimagines an ever-evolving urban landscape through stacked geometric forms. Each structure is duplicated and shaped based on Perlin noise values assigned to its location, resulting in a rhythmic arrangement that echoes patterns of urban development. The blocks subtly shift over time—morphing from sharp-edged rectangles to rounded forms—suggesting the passage of time and the organic nature of city growth. Though seemingly static, the composition continuously transforms, revealing the dynamic rhythm of a city that is always under construction.
